Responsibility
Our Commitment
Satori Hats recognises the importance of adopting a responsible approach, understanding the environmental and social impacts of our business activities, and acting in accordance with high ethical principles.
Supporting Artisans & Independent Businesses
We are committed to supporting small artisans and independent businesses by working with specialist suppliers who are experts in their crafts, using high quality materials and traditional techniques passed down through generations.
Traditional Craftsmanship
Our hat blocks are handcrafted by Emmanuel in Italy, preserving the artistry and precision of traditional millinery craftsmanship.
The sweatbands are vegetable dyed, and the silk linings are produced by Lupo in the United States, ensuring both quality and responsible production methods.
Responsible Materials
Our felts are made from merino wool and sourced in Portugal from trusted suppliers who are committed to animal welfare and environmentally responsible practices.
Handmade In England
Each hat is carefully handmade in England within a small studio in Essex, allowing us to maintain exceptional attention to detail, minimise waste, and support local craftsmanship.
Our Approach
By choosing small scale, skilled suppliers and producing in limited quantities, we are able to:
Support independent artisans and preserve traditional craftsmanship
Ensure higher quality materials and construction
Reduce environmental impact through more mindful production
Maintain transparency throughout our supply chain
Create timeless products designed to last for years rather than seasons
The Satori Philosophy
At Satori Hats, we believe true luxury comes from craftsmanship, responsibility, and respect for the people and materials behind every piece.
